Howdy Reader! I recently passed the 25-year mark at work. My manager asked if I had any words of wisdom. Having had no warning that he was going to ask me this, I came up with: "Get out while you still can." With a little more warning, I probably would have said: "Options are good." If you don't have options, you're stuck. Stuck with whatever your job wants to throw at you. That's why building something outside of your 9-to-5 helps. It gives you options.
