Howdy Reader!

Lord willing and the creek don't rise, I'll be touring my old high school at 11 AM today.

And I'll be having a picnic with a few dozen of my high school classmates in the afternoon.

"With lawn games," I'm told.

I likely won't ever, again, be in the middle of such a high concentration of Generation X.

We're squarely in the middle of Gen X, which means our spouses are likely Gen X as well.

We'll probably be all content to talk about drinking from the hose and thriving on benign neglect.

Here's one thing I won't be doing at that time

I won't be worried about my posting schedule.

I won't be fitting in new things from Threads.

I won't have my laptop to finish up an article.

They're already done, and scheduled.

I can't remember the last time I actually pulled this off.

It's going to be an amazing feeling not to worry about it, at least for a couple of days.

The good news is that I'm writing all of this down.

I'll want to share it with you.

(I kind of am now, but in bits and pieces.)

The GAS Method is in the works.

Because I want you to feel the same sense of calm that I'm just coming to realize.

The sense that you're creating because you want to.

Not because you have to.

Creating because you have to is a chore.

Creating because you want to is a cinch.
